Guild is hiring a Senior Applied Learning Associate to play a central role in Guild’s mission by helping to build and maintain operations supporting our Healthcare partners. In this role, you’ll play a key role in driving and optimizing existing operations to enable learners to complete their required hands-on/clinical program requirements. In collaboration with numerous cross-functional partners (Employer Services, Learning Marketplace, Product, and more!), you will work to ensure Guild’s Healthcare offering is built for scale. The Applied Learning team is specifically focused on supporting programs that have hands-on requirements. Using a mix of strategic analysis, customer success and member feedback, the team supports internal and external partners to build sustainable applied learning operations.

You’ll be great in this role if you are a detailed project manager, have a curiosity about analysis, and want to tackle fun and ambitious problems.

As a Senior Applied Learning Associate you will:

  • Build a deep knowledge base of current program operations and student experience touchpoints.
  • Analyze outcomes and current processes to find opportunities for operational improvements.
  • Manage projects to improve and optimize ongoing academic partner and program operations post-launch, with a focus on internal efficiency, scalability, and student experience.
  • Collaborate with internal team members to resolve operational, academic and student-related issues in a timely manner, and build systems that enable our team to do so at scale.
  • Build and maintain strong cross-functional and accountable relationships with Learning Marketplace teams, Student Experience, Marketplace Enablement, Product, Employer Partnerships, and more.
  • Document current internal process and student journey, using data analysis, program feedback from internal and external partners, and industry takeaways to understand program difficulties (ex: operational inefficiencies/gaps, poor student experience).
  • Assist with the development of internal- and external-facing resources, including presentations, training, reference materials, and general communications.
  • Assess data quality from learning partners and collaborate with internal data teams to deliver learner data to employer partners, enabling them to support applied learning operations at scale

You are a strong fit for this role if you have:

Required Competencies

  • 3+ years of total experience in operations, project management, or similar analytical roles.
  • Strong program development and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills with the ability to synthesize information and deliver strong story-telling.
  • Ability to execute quickly with high attention to detail to critical operations, processes, and dependencies in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge and understanding of how to develop strong trust-based partnerships - balancing confidence, humility, and diplomacy at senior levels.
  • Experience engaging cross-functionally with a broad range of internal and external partners.

Preferred Competencies

  • Bonus points for Healthcare experience!
  • The curiosity to constantly ask questions and experience using analytical approaches to develop, measure and evolve processes - never settling for “good enough”.
  • Strong work ethic and independence, with a high degree of motivation to learn and iterate.
