This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Associate, Operations & Coordination based in Canada.

This role plays a key operational and coordination function at the heart of leadership execution and organizational alignment. You will support senior leaders in managing priorities, workflows, and cross-functional initiatives within a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. The position focuses on ensuring that leadership activities are well-organized, tracked, and effectively delivered across multiple teams and stakeholders. You will contribute to planning processes, meeting coordination, and operational systems that enable strong decision-making and execution. Working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional partners, you will help maintain clarity, structure, and momentum across strategic initiatives. Accountabilities:

  • Support senior leadership in planning, organizing, and executing strategic priorities, ensuring alignment across teams and effective workflow management.
  • Manage leadership calendars of work, including roadmaps, priority trackers, and scheduling optimization for senior executives.
  • Coordinate preparation for leadership and governance meetings by developing agendas, materials, action tracking, and follow-ups.
  • Assist in tracking budgets, expenses, and operational forecasts in collaboration with relevant teams.
  • Maintain and improve systems for tracking priorities, risks, dependencies, and cross-functional deliverables.
  • Coordinate internal communications, briefings, and updates to support leadership decision-making and alignment.
  • Provide coordination support for cross-team initiatives, special projects, and Systems Change activities as needed.
  • Requirements:

    • 3–5+ years of experience in operations, project coordination, executive support, or similar roles in nonprofit, corporate, or mission-driven environments.
    • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced, ambiguous settings.
    • Experience supporting senior leaders with calendar management, meeting coordination, and operational planning.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and structured documentation and materials.
    • Basic experience with budgeting, tracking, or operational reporting processes is considered an asset.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and stakeholders.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and shared work platforms.
