Senior BIM Specialist I

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior BIM Specialist I based in the United States.

This is a senior production-focused BIM role centered on advanced Revit modeling, documentation, and coordination across multidisciplinary design projects.
The position plays a key role in ensuring model accuracy, constructability, and alignment with design intent and project standards.
You will lead BIM execution by managing model structure, resolving coordination issues, and driving clash detection processes.
The role also involves translating engineering markups into clear, buildable documentation that supports efficient project delivery.
In addition, you will mentor junior designers, strengthening team capabilities in Revit workflows and documentation best practices.
You will contribute to improving BIM standards, templates, and workflows across multiple concurrent projects.

• Lead BIM execution by developing, maintaining, and coordinating high-quality Revit models and documentation aligned with project and client standards.
• Translate engineering markups and design intent into accurate, constructible drawings while ensuring consistency and clarity across deliverables.
• Proactively identify and resolve coordination issues, run clash detection, and maintain model health across multiple active projects.
• Support BIM coordination efforts by participating in interdisciplinary reviews and ensuring alignment between design disciplines.
• Mentor and guide junior designers in Revit workflows, modeling best practices, and documentation standards to improve overall team capability.
• Contribute to the improvement of BIM systems by refining templates, workflows, and standards through documented feedback and enhancements.
• Maintain organized project documentation and support effective communication of risks, decisions, and coordination updates.

Requirements

• Associate degree or technical certification in Drafting, Architecture, Engineering, or equivalent BIM production experience.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in the AEC industry with strong expertise in Autodesk Revit and BIM coordination workflows.
• Proven ability to manage complex, coordinated models and produce high-quality construction documentation with minimal supervision.
• Strong understanding of cross-discipline coordination, building systems integration, and constructability principles.
• Experience working with tools such as Navisworks, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Asana, and GitHub.
• Ability to interpret design intent, resolve modeling challenges independently, and anticipate coordination risks.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Preferred experience in technology systems design (telecom, AV, security, acoustics, or related fields).
• Industry certifications such as Autodesk Certified Professional, CDT, CTS, RCDD, or PSP/CPP are a plus but not required.
