The Role:

The Senior Analyst will support the daily responsibilities and operations within the Broker Research Team. The candidate in this role will also be expected to guide a small team of operations analysts as a player-coach. Analysts are expected to partner with the Broker Research Product Managers, Engineers, and Broker Relations team to meet (and exceed) clients needs with a best-of-breed product offering. Responsibilities will primarily include the onboarding of new research contributors, monitoring content quality, and troubleshooting content and platform issues. The ideal candidate will also have an eye for detail, strong written and verbal communication skills, and prior content onboarding and support experience..

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Content Onboarding: Assist in the onboarding of new research contributors
  • Content Maintenance: Validate the accuracy of data received from various sources; ensuring the details are correctly stored, processed, and presented
  • Troubleshooting Issues: Help facilitate the identification and resolution of issues
  • Content Support: As a subject matter expert, you will be responsible for addressing content-related inquiries. Communicating with internal teams, raising questions with content providers and/or vendors, tracking issues, etc.
  • Functional Improvements: Collaborate with the PMs to identify sources of improvements. Including enhancements to processes, internal tools, and features
  • Documentation: Create, update, and document operational processes

Candidate Requirements:

  • 5+ years in operations or data aggregation
  • Bachelor’s Degree (with strong academic record)
  • Experience or interest in mentoring junior team members
  • Background in investment research (vendor, sell-side, buy-side) preferred
  • Must be comfortable working with technology. Exposure to metadata and SFTP a must
  • Proficient in Excel, MS Office, and Google Suite
  • Energetic and creative, naturally curious, and have an aptitude to learn and adapt
  • Be comfortable in a challenging & growing environment with shifting priorities
  • Ability to execute tasks and take complex projects through completion
  • Ability to distill and explain complex issues in simple terms
