Senior Business Analyst

The Senior Business Analyst is a critical role that will implement cloud-based, big data analytic solutions for MedeAnalytics’s health care payer and provider clients. This individual will be responsible for understanding external Client’s technical and business objectives to ensure a successful implementation of MedeAnalytic’s solutions. To be successful in this role this candidate will need to be experienced in a client facing role with a consultative and analytical background. Health plan and SaaS experience is strongly desired, as well as strong problem solving skills.  

Responsibilities:

• Lead client-facing meetings to gather and document complex detailed client business requirements for health care provider and health plan business intelligence / analytic applications.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the standard client use cases for MedeAnalytics products and apply that knowledge to client-specific requirements, providing consultative support to guide the client through implementation project requests and personalization's to achieve their business objectives.
• Ability to demonstrate client specific solutions to internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with project team members to coordinate the implementation and execution of project deliverables to achieve an on-time go-live with high client satisfaction KPIs
• Conduct through investigations of bugs and issues. Create high quality tickets with thorough and in-depth acceptance criteria. Collaborate with Account Manager and BI Engineers to coordinate the completion of ticket requests and execution of project deliverables to achieve high client satisfaction KPIs.
• Leverage and seek to improve standard methodology templates to facilitate efficiency and repeatability across projects.
  • Document and disseminate both internal documentation as well as client-facing and business-appropriate reference materials that reflect the detailed configuration of client-specific MedeAnalytics solutions.
  • Plan and facilitate requirement review meetings with various level of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop comprehensive acceptance criteria for client specific requirements.
  • Mentor and train business analysts in product and implementation methodologies

Requirements:

• Minimum 5-7 years client-facing consulting experience, including extensive in requirements gathering.
• Experience with software implementations and methodology, ideally in a health plan or hospital-based system.
• Detailed understanding of the healthcare industry and knowledge of health care terminology e.g. ACGs, diagnosis, procedure codes, accounts, transactions, etc.
• Experience working with health care data and/or healthcare software, preferably in a health plan, provider or health plan setting, with a consulting firm, or a software vendor.
• Microsoft Excel (advanced), Microsoft Project, Microsoft PowerPoint and Office365, Jira.

Compensation Information:

• Base Salary Range: USD $90,000 - $105,000

**Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to the candidate, including skill set, relevant experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.
