This role is focused on driving end-to-end business process improvement and digital transformation within complex, often federal or regulated environments. The Senior Business Process Analyst will act as a key bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating operational needs into clear, actionable, and compliant system and process requirements. The position plays a critical role in analyzing current-state workflows, defining future-state processes, and ensuring alignment with technology implementations and modernization initiatives. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to facilitate workshops, gather requirements, and produce executive-ready documentation, dashboards, and insights. The environment is highly collaborative and data-driven, with strong emphasis on measurable outcomes, efficiency gains, and continuous improvement. This role also supports change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new systems and processes. It requires a strong balance of analytical thinking, communication skills, and hands-on delivery.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead end-to-end business process analysis activities, including current-state and future-state mapping, workflow modeling, and identification of inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and control gaps using structured methodologies such as workshops, interviews, and observations.
  • Partner with business, technical, and client stakeholders to gather, define, prioritize, and validate functional and non-functional requirements across enterprise systems and transformation initiatives.
  • Develop detailed documentation including business requirements, use cases, process models, Visio workflows, analytical tables, and executive-level presentations to support decision-making and delivery.
  • Conduct gap analyses, impact assessments, KPI tracking, and cost-benefit evaluations to enable data-driven process improvement recommendations.
  • Support full SDLC lifecycle activities including requirements analysis, testing coordination, system integration, documentation, and deployment readiness.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement sessions and cross-functional workshops to align business needs with technical solutions and ensure successful adoption of new systems.
  • Contribute to change management activities including training support, communications, dashboards, and executive reporting to drive organizational readiness and transformation success.
  • Requirements:

    • 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Process Analyst, or Business Data Analyst supporting complex IT, enterprise transformation, or consulting engagements, ideally within federal or government-related environments.
    • Strong experience leading requirements elicitation, business process analysis, workflow redesign, and development of structured documentation including use cases, scenarios, and process models.
    • Advanced ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to technical, non-technical, and executive audiences through presentations, reports, and documentation.
    • Hands-on experience with process modeling tools such as Visio and BPMN, as well as Agile and requirements management tools such as Jira.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills with proven ability to engage senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
    • Experience working independently as a senior-level contributor, driving workstreams and delivering outcomes with minimal supervision.
    • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience; US citizenship and eligibility for security clearance required.
    • Benefits:

      • Competitive salary with comprehensive benefits package
      • Healthcare coverage including medical, dental, and vision
      • Retirement savings options (e.g., 401k)
      • Flexible work arrangements depending on project requirements
      • Paid time off and holidays
      • Professional development and certification support (CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile, Six Sigma, Microsoft certifications, etc.)
      • Exposure to large-scale federal digital transformation and modernization programs
      • Opportunity to work with advanced Microsoft and cloud-based technologies including Power Platform and Azure
