This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead complex cloud transformation initiatives while helping organizations strengthen their security posture and modernize their infrastructure. You will work closely with clients to design, implement, and optimize cloud solutions across major platforms, ensuring alignment with both business goals and regulatory requirements. Acting as a trusted advisor, you’ll combine technical expertise with strategic thinking to deliver impactful outcomes. Accountabilities:
- Lead end-to-end cloud engagements, including greenfield deployments and optimization of existing environments
- Serve as a subject matter expert and primary point of contact, combining technical leadership with project oversight
- Design and implement secure, compliant cloud architectures aligned with regulatory frameworks and industry standards
- Collaborate with clients to define cloud strategies, assess configurations, and recommend improvements
- Produce high-quality deliverables, including technical documentation and executive-level reports
- Monitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery within scope and budget
- Mentor and coach junior consultants, supporting their technical and professional development
- Partner with internal teams and stakeholders to co-deliver solutions and enhance service quality
- Support business development efforts by identifying opportunities and contributing to client proposals
- 6+ years of experience in security systems engineering and architecture, with at least 5 years in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Strong knowledge of security and compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP, FISMA, SOC, ISO, HIPAA, HITRUST, or PCI
- Proven experience in a consulting or professional services environment supporting enterprise clients
- Deep understanding of cloud platforms, architecture design, and security best practices
- Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to balance technical requirements with business objectives and provide risk-based recommendations
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- U.S. citizenship required due to client-related constraints
