MaintainX is seeking a strategic and innovative Senior Content Strategy Manager to drive the development and execution of our content strategy. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the narrative of our brand, establishing thought leadership, and creating impactful content that resonates with our target audience.

What you’ll do:

  • Collaborate with the Director of Integrated Marketing to develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy aligned with the company's business objectives and target audience.
  • Lead and scale the content team at MaintainX, including managing freelance writers. 
  • Oversee the end-to-end creation, review, and design of high-quality content, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, webinars, and more.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand market trends, customer needs, and product positioning to inform content strategy.
  • Drive initiatives to position MaintainX as a thought leader in the CMMS/EAM space through compelling and industry-relevant content.
  • Create backlink creation campaigns to drive referral traffic and build link authority through SEO.
  • Develop a distribution strategy to ensure content reaches the target audience through earned and owned channels.
  • Collaborate with internal subject matter experts and product teams to ensure technical accuracy and alignment with brand messaging.
  • Optimize content for search engines and integrate SEO strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze content performance using analytics tools, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

About you:

  • At least 5+ years of content marketing or editorial experience in B2B SaaS—ideally in-house.
  • 2+ years of experience managing, leading, and growing a content team. 
  • A seasoned storyteller with excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • You are an expert in translating technical topics (like manufacturing and engineering topics!) into easy-to-understand concepts; bonus points if you have experience working in the manufacturing or engineering field.
  • Experienced orchestrator and planner. You have experience driving monthly, quarterly, and annual strategies to drive content creation
  • SEO expert. You have extensive experience with SEO best practices and strategies that drive organic traffic.
  • Data-driven. You are comfortable working with data, both in your writing and in measuring the success of content initiatives.
  • Insatiable curiosity and research skills. You strive to deeply understand the needs, wants, and desires of the audience that you are creating content for.
  • Unparalleled idea generator. You have a strong understanding of content marketing best practices and can come up with witty, out-of-the-box, and even provocative ideas.
  • Strong project management and prioritization skills. You know how to get things done, on time, in scope, and on budget.
