Senior Cyber Scenario Architect

Join a leading team creating hands-on cybersecurity Scenarios (labs) for current and future cybersecurity professionals. Our team’s mission is to prepare cybersecurity professionals and bring the cybersecurity profession within reach of anyone through immersive Scenarios containing modern day enterprise infrastructure, vulnerabilities, and attacker TTPs. We are looking for a high energy and dynamic Cyber Scenario Designer with a broad and deep understanding of cybersecurity. This position is 100% remote in North America.

About the Role

We are looking for a Sr. Cyber Scenario Architect to join our Project Ares team. In this role, you will collaborate with other cybersecurity experts to research, design, and develop hands-on Scenarios based on the latest technologies, vulnerabilities, safeguards, and threats.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated expertise in a cybersecurity work role with network architecture, systems engineering, and programming experience. Strong cybersecurity skills, a deep understanding in building virtual environments, and the ability to conduct research and development is key to the success of this role.

What you’ll do

•Research the latest technologies, vulnerabilities, safeguards, and threats related to cybersecurity

•Design and build virtual environments based on real-world enterprise networks

•Plan cyber-attacks and defensive actions within a controlled environment

•Create player objectives, guidance, and measures of performance to accomplish cybersecurity tasks

•Automate all aspects of Scenario builds

•Have fun and collaborate with peers to make a significant impact to cybersecurity on a global scale

What you’ll need

•Demonstrated expertise in cybersecurity, or a related role

•Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and passion for solving challenges

•Working knowledge of cybersecurity threats

•Capable of working individually or as part of a team

•Experience with Windows, Linux, and networking devices

•Experience with network architectures and administration

What is required

•Experience with programming/scripting languages, Python required

•Experience with cloud-based IaaS, Azure required

•Experience with configuration management solutions, SaltStack required

•Experience with data serialization languages, YAML and JSON & Terraform required

The benefits of working at Circadence

Compensation negotiable, depending on level of experience - $130k - $145k.
