This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Data Analyst based in India.

This role sits at the heart of product and growth analytics, where data is directly used to shape strategic decisions and drive measurable business impact. You will play a key role in understanding user behavior, optimizing product performance, and improving acquisition and retention across payment products. Working closely with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders, you will transform complex data into clear, actionable insights that influence both short-term experimentation and long-term strategy. The environment is fast-paced, data-driven, and highly collaborative, with a strong focus on experimentation and continuous improvement. You will be responsible for building scalable analytics frameworks, dashboards, and models that support decision-making at scale. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving ambiguous business problems through rigorous analysis and statistical thinking.

Accountabilities:

  • Product & Growth Analytics: Work closely with product, engineering, and business teams to identify opportunities, define key metrics, and monitor performance across acquisition, retention, and engagement.
  • Insight Generation: Translate complex business and product questions into structured analyses and actionable recommendations that guide strategic decision-making.
  • Experimentation & Testing: Design, execute, and analyze A/B tests and multivariate experiments to evaluate product changes and growth initiatives.
  • Dashboarding & Reporting: Develop and maintain scalable, self-service dashboards and visualization tools to improve visibility of KPIs across teams.
  • Advanced Analytics & Modeling: Apply statistical techniques, predictive models, clustering, and other analytical methods to solve business and product challenges.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a strategic partner between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring alignment and effective communication of insights.
  • End-to-End Ownership: Own analytics initiatives across the product lifecycle, from data requirements and opportunity sizing to post-launch impact evaluation.
  • Requirements:

    • 3–4+ years of experience in a highly analytical role (tech, consulting, investment banking, or data-heavy environments).
    • Strong SQL expertise with proven ability to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets.
    • Hands-on experience designing and analyzing experiments such as A/B tests and multivariate testing.
    • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms.
    • Strong programming skills in Python, with experience using libraries such as Pandas, SciPy, and Jupyter notebooks.
    • Solid understanding of statistical modeling, advanced analytics, and data-driven decision-making.
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex insights clearly to diverse stakeholders.
    • Strong business acumen with exposure to product, marketing, or growth analytics preferred.
    • Benefits:

      • Competitive salary package with performance-based annual bonus.
      • Health insurance coverage and retirement/pension benefits.
      • Strong learning culture with training programs, knowledge sharing, and internal technical sessions.
      • Collaborative and inclusive work environment where all voices are valued and respected.
      • Opportunity to work on high-impact, large-scale financial and payment products.
      • Career growth in a fast-scaling, data-driven organization with global reach.
