Senior Data Scientist

This role sits at the intersection of data science, decentralized finance, and blockchain analytics, focusing on some of the fastest-growing segments of the Web3 ecosystem. You will analyze complex on-chain behaviors across DeFi protocols and stablecoins, uncovering insights that shape product strategy, ecosystem growth, and protocol performance. The position blends deep technical analytics with research-driven exploration of market structures in a high-performance, object-centric blockchain environment. You will work closely with product, engineering, and partnerships teams to define new measurement frameworks and evaluate ecosystem health. The role is highly cross-functional and impact-driven, combining dashboarding, advanced analytics, and experimental research. It is ideal for someone passionate about crypto markets, financial systems, and data-driven innovation in decentralized infrastructure.

• Build and maintain dashboards that provide visibility into DeFi activity, stablecoin flows, and ecosystem performance for internal stakeholders and leadership teams.
• Analyze on-chain data across liquidity, trading volume, lending markets, user behavior, and stablecoin velocity to generate actionable insights.
• Develop and refine measurement frameworks for protocol health, including wash trading detection, incentive distortion analysis, and adoption quality metrics.
• Partner with product, engineering, and partnerships teams to evaluate protocol launches, integrations, and ecosystem expansion efforts.
• Design and implement scalable data pipelines and analytics workflows to support high-volume blockchain data processing.
• Contribute to the definition of industry standards for DeFi and stablecoin analytics across emerging blockchain ecosystems.
• Support business development initiatives by measuring the impact of partnerships with DeFi protocols, stablecoin issuers, and liquidity providers.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in data science, analytics, or quantitative roles with a focus on blockchain, crypto, or financial markets.
• Deep familiarity with DeFi primitives such as AMMs, lending protocols, perpetuals, and stablecoin mechanisms.
• Hands-on experience working with on-chain data tools or platforms (e.g., Dune, Flipside, Allium, or raw indexer/node data).
• Advanced SQL skills and strong data visualization capabilities, with the ability to communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Understanding of key DeFi metrics such as TVL, trading volume quality, LP economics, lending utilization, and mint/redeem flows.
• Exposure to quantitative finance, trading, market making, or fintech analytics is highly preferred.
• Experience building or maintaining analytics pipelines using tools such as dbt or similar frameworks is a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively across product, engineering, and business teams.
• High curiosity and genuine interest in decentralized finance, stablecoins, and blockchain-based financial systems.
