This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Delivery Manager, M&A and Claims based in the United States.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced legal operations leader to shape and scale high-impact managed services programs across global markets. The role combines strategic leadership, client relationship management, and operational excellence to deliver innovative outsourced legal solutions in areas such as M&A, contract abstraction, and claims review. You will oversee multidisciplinary teams, drive process transformation initiatives, and leverage technology to improve efficiency and service quality. Accountabilities:

  • Lead and manage multidisciplinary teams of delivery managers, legal professionals, coordinators, and technical specialists to ensure high-quality service delivery across managed legal service engagements.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring projects are delivered in line with agreed KPIs, SLAs, timelines, and client expectations.
  • Optimize workflow allocation, resource planning, and operational processes to maximize efficiency and scalability across multiple engagements.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives and implement technology-enabled solutions to enhance service delivery, knowledge management, and operational performance.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and escalation point for strategic and operational matters.
  • Prepare, analyze, and present performance reports, metrics, and executive updates to internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to support service innovation, solution design, and business development initiatives.
  • Contribute to the ongoing growth and strategic development of the managed services function, balancing immediate delivery needs with long-term objectives.
  • Requirements

    • Significant experience in legal service delivery, managed services, legal operations, or related professional services environments.
    • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams spanning legal, operations, and technology disciplines.
    • Strong expertise in workflow design, process optimization, change management, and operational transformation initiatives.
    • Experience implementing or managing technology-enabled legal solutions, including workflow automation, contract analytics, or AI-assisted review platforms.
    • Proven client-facing experience with strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience leading meetings and delivering executive-level reporting.
    • Strong writing capabilities, including experience supporting proposals, RFP responses, and solution documentation.
    • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Ability to translate client requirements into scalable operational strategies and practical delivery models.
    • Strong problem-solving, risk management, and decision-making skills in fast-paced environments.
    • High emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and the ability to influence stakeholders across global teams.
    • Demonstrated people management experience and a strong ownership mindset.
    • Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
    • Background in M&A, insurance, claims, financial services, or healthcare sectors is advantageous.
    • Familiarity with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI is considered a plus.
