This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Designer based in Canada.

This role sits at the intersection of brand storytelling and social-first creative execution, shaping how a major consumer brand shows up across fast-moving digital platforms. You will transform strategic briefs, audience insights, and brand guidelines into bold, culturally relevant visual work that stands out in crowded feeds. Operating in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment, you’ll design across multiple channels including social, digital, and occasionally offline touchpoints. You’ll also play a key leadership role within the creative team, mentoring designers and elevating overall craft standards. A strong focus is placed on conceptual thinking, inclusive design, and platform-native creativity. This is an opportunity to influence both the visual identity and creative direction of high-impact campaigns at scale.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead the visual direction of social-first campaigns by developing strong conceptual ideas and translating them into high-performing creative across multiple platforms.
  • Design and produce high-quality assets for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, and emerging channels while ensuring platform-native execution and brand consistency.
  • Develop adaptable visual systems that extend across social, digital display, CRM, OOH, and POS where needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including strategy, copy, and social teams to deliver cohesive, insight-driven creative solutions.
  • Art direct shoots and content production, ensuring authentic, inclusive, and on-brand visual storytelling.
  • Mentor and guide designers and content creators, fostering a strong culture of creative excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Integrate Gen AI tools thoughtfully into the creative process to enhance ideation, exploration, and production efficiency.
  • Requirements:

    • Strong portfolio demonstrating social-first design work with clear conceptual thinking and execution across multiple platforms and consumer brands.
    • Deep understanding of social media ecosystems, platform behaviors, and content performance across major channels such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Pinterest.
    • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma, with the ability to produce high-quality assets efficiently in fast-paced environments.
    • Proven experience in art direction for photo, video, or content shoots with a strong eye for composition and storytelling.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and inspire creative teams while providing clear feedback and direction.
    • Strong conceptual and visual storytelling skills with the ability to translate brand strategy into emotionally engaging creative work.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence in articulating creative rationale to stakeholders and clients.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality, consistency, and deadlines.
