Senior Designer

You will also contribute to the adoption of AI-powered design practices, helping define innovative approaches to research, prototyping, and product experiences in a distributed international team.

• Lead the end-to-end design process for core product experiences across desktop and mobile platforms, from discovery and user research to delivery and post-launch evaluation.
• Design intuitive solutions for complex financial workflows, including payments, expense management, cross-border transactions, and AI-powered product capabilities.
• Drive improvements in product consistency, usability, and overall design quality by identifying UX gaps and establishing scalable solutions.
• Contribute to and evolve the design system, defining patterns and principles that support future product development and AI-driven experiences.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research activities, validate concepts with users, and advocate for customer-centric decision-making.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and marketers to align product vision, priorities, and execution.
• Influence design practices, participate in hiring initiatives, and help shape how AI tools are integrated into the design workflow.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in product design, with ownership of high-impact, end-to-end product initiatives.
• Proven experience designing products within fintech, payments, financial services, or similarly complex industries.
• Strong portfolio showcasing problem definition, ideation, execution, and measurable business or user outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, and move projects forward with limited supervision.
• Practical experience using AI tools for design exploration, prototyping, research synthesis, documentation, or workflow optimization.
• Expertise in building, maintaining, and scaling design systems across multiple product surfaces.
• Strong research capabilities, including participant recruitment, synthesis of insights, and evidence-based design decisions.
• Experience partnering closely with product and engineering teams through implementation and delivery cycles.
• Professional proficiency in English is required; additional language skills, particularly Spanish or Portuguese, are considered an asset.
• Experience with B2B products, finance teams, globally distributed organizations, or AI-powered product experiences is highly desirable.
