This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Director, Digital, Marketing Technology, and Data based in United States.

This role offers the opportunity to lead the digital transformation of a high-growth technology organization by shaping the future of marketing systems, data strategy, and digital channels.
You will own the architecture and evolution of a complex MarTech ecosystem while driving measurable growth through data-driven decisions.
As a senior marketing technology leader, you will bridge strategy, engineering, analytics, and marketing operations to create scalable solutions.
You will build and mentor high-performing teams while establishing processes that improve efficiency, performance, and collaboration.
The role combines technical depth, marketing expertise, and executive-level influence to accelerate customer acquisition and business growth.

Accountabilities:

The Senior Director, Digital, Marketing Technology, and Data will be responsible for leading the marketing technology ecosystem, digital strategy, and data capabilities that support business growth. This role requires a hands-on technical leader who can manage teams, optimize platforms, and translate complex data into actionable business strategies.

  • Own the MarTech roadmap and architecture, ensuring seamless integrations, effective data flows, and scalable solutions across marketing platforms.
  • Lead and develop marketing operations teams responsible for platform administration, governance, optimization, and process improvements.
  • Define and execute integrated paid and owned digital channel strategies, including channel mix, investment priorities, and performance goals.
  • Develop and maintain the marketing data strategy, ensuring data accuracy, strong governance, and reliable insights across systems.
  • Oversee the marketing website development function, including engineering processes, technical architecture, sprint planning, quality assurance, and release management.
  • Serve as a strategic technology and data partner within the marketing leadership team, providing insights that influence business decisions.
  • Build strong partnerships with analytics, engineering, marketing, and external vendors to improve measurement frameworks and operational effectiveness.
  • Mentor senior leaders and managers, fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Requirements:

    The ideal candidate is a strategic and technical marketing technology leader with extensive experience managing complex digital ecosystems, leading teams, and driving measurable business outcomes in high-growth environments.

    • 12+ years of experience in digital marketing, marketing technology, or marketing operations leadership, including significant experience managing MarTech platforms and technical teams within B2B SaaS or technology companies.
    • Proven hands-on expertise with marketing technology platforms, including administration, architecture, integrations, and optimization.
    • Experience leading website development teams with knowledge of engineering processes, technical architecture, and release management.
    • Strong understanding of marketing data architecture, including data models, APIs, integrations, ETL processes, and automation tools.
    • Demonstrated ability to create and execute digital channel strategies across paid and owned channels.
    • Experience partnering with analytics and data engineering teams to develop attribution models, measurement frameworks, and performance insights.
    • Strong leadership skills with experience developing senior managers and building high-performing teams.
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence executive stakeholders and translate technical concepts into business outcomes.
    • Experience managing agency partnerships, vendors, and evaluating internal versus outsourced operating models.
