This senior leadership role sits at the intersection of insurance industry expertise, technology consulting, and go-to-market strategy for large-scale digital transformation initiatives. You will play a pivotal role in shaping how advanced IT services and AI-driven solutions are positioned and adopted across Property & Casualty (P&C) and Life & Annuities (L&A) insurance markets. Acting as a trusted advisor to both clients and internal sales teams, you will translate complex technology capabilities into clear business outcomes such as faster underwriting, improved claims processing, and enhanced operational efficiency. The role blends strategic vision with hands-on commercial execution, requiring deep industry credibility and strong executive presence. You will influence enterprise deals, support solution design, and help define vertical-specific offerings that strengthen market positioning. Operating in a highly collaborative, global environment, you will also contribute to thought leadership and ecosystem partnerships that expand reach and impact across the insurance landscape.
Accountabilities
In this role, you will define and execute strategic go-to-market initiatives while driving measurable commercial impact across insurance advisory and solutioning efforts. You will act as a senior domain authority supporting complex sales cycles and shaping industry-specific offerings.
- Lead vertical go-to-market strategy for P&C and L&A insurance segments, ensuring alignment with market trends, client needs, and revenue objectives
- Serve as a primary pre-sales insurance SME, supporting large deal pursuits, client workshops, and executive-level discussions
- Translate IT services (cloud, data, AI, cybersecurity, modernization) into tailored insurance-specific solutions and value propositions
- Shape deal constructs and solution architecture around underwriting, claims, policy administration, and regulatory requirements
- Develop and strengthen partnerships with key ecosystem players and ISVs to enhance solution offerings and market reach
- Contribute to asset development, including reusable frameworks, accelerators, and industry intellectual property
- Support revenue growth through strategic advisory, deal influence, and improved win rates across complex engagements
- Represent the organization externally as a thought leader through conferences, publications, and analyst engagement
- 15+ years of experience in P&C and/or L&A insurance, with strong knowledge of core value chains (underwriting, claims, policy servicing)
- Background in IT services, consulting, or insurance technology advisory with significant client-facing leadership experience
- Proven success in go-to-market strategy, solution selling, or commercial leadership in enterprise environments
- Strong understanding of insurance platforms and ecosystems, including partnerships with major industry vendors
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, outcome-driven business value narratives
- Executive presence with exceptional communication, storytelling, and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a data-driven approach to market and deal strategy
- Experience building relationships with C-suite stakeholders and influencing large-scale transformation initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred
- Annual base salary range: $160,000 – $296,000, plus performance-based bonus eligibility
