The role:

At Simple Technology Solutions (STS), we’re proud of the services we provide to our valued government customers. We are committed to excellence and innovation, and we are seeking an experienced Senior Director of Digital Transformation to lead go-to-market and delivery of our digital transformation services for federal government clients.

The Senior Director of Digital Transformation will play a pivotal role in winning, managing and delivering value on our digital transformation contracts. Reporting to the Principal of Business Development, this senior leadership position will be responsible for driving our digital transformation initiatives, working closely with cross-functional teams to develop digital strategies that align with our overall business objectives and enhance our digital capabilities.

The ideal candidate will have extensive technical and agile project management experience and comprehensive knowledge of digital and emerging technologies. He/She/They must provide the strategic vision for the Digital Transformation practice area leading go-to-market activities in collaboration with the BD Principal and other cross-functional executives. This requires interacting with prospective and existing clients and partners. The role also requires a deep understanding of federal government acquisition and customer hot buttons to enable delivery of solutions that reinforce STS as a leader in digital government transformation. The successful candidate will have a strong combination of strategic thinking, leadership skills, and hands-on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop STS’s go-to-market strategy for the Digital Transformation capability area, including alignment with overall business objectives and market trends. Continuously monitor the digital landscape to identify opportunities for partnerships and innovation.

Identify, qualify, and capture $100M in DHS opportunities [in factored value to STS] that align with STS’s capabilities (cloud/DevSecOps, data and machine learning, application development, and digital transformation).
Drive 8(a) direct award opportunities in STS capability areas.
Collaborate with Marketing and CTO to create go-to-market collateral, offering accelerators, and customer demos/proofs-of-concept.
Assess emerging technologies and trends, and make recommendations for technology investment that will drive efficiency, innovation, and competitiveness.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

10+ years marketing and delivering digital solutions to the federal government.
Active CSM, SAFe, PMP and/or ITIL certifications.
Experience with the DHS tri-bureau market.
Proven track record of successfully managing government contracts and digital transformation initiatives.
Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
In-depth knowledge and experience with agile methodologies.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, business administration or related technical field or discipline. A master’s degree is a plus.
Minimum of 10+ years of experience in a related position.
