Job Description

Team: Project Management

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Director of Operations in United States.

Join a mission-driven, early-stage organization where operations leadership plays a central role in shaping both strategy and execution. As a key member of the leadership team, you will partner closely with the CEO to build scalable systems, define organizational rhythms, and drive performance across a growing, AI-forward environment. This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution, offering the opportunity to design operating models, implement data-driven decision frameworks, and enable cross-functional collaboration. You will help establish the foundation for long-term growth while supporting impactful initiatives that address real-world challenges. Working in a remote-first setting with a collaborative culture, you will influence both internal operations and future service delivery. This is an ideal opportunity for a builder who thrives in dynamic environments and is motivated by purpose and innovation.

Accountabilities:

  • Establish and lead core operating cadences including planning cycles, leadership meetings, and organizational rhythms
  • Partner with executive leadership to define and execute strategic roadmaps and long-term operating models
  • Build and optimize internal systems, processes, and workflows to support a fast-scaling organization
  • Develop and manage organization-wide KPIs and performance scorecards to drive accountability and decision-making
  • Oversee financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and compliance in collaboration with key stakeholders
  • Design and implement scalable consulting and delivery operations to support future growth
  • Lead cross-functional coordination and ensure alignment across teams and initiatives
  • Develop high-quality communications and reporting materials for stakeholders and funding partners
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness
  • Requirements:

    • 12–15+ years of experience in operations, strategy, consulting, or general management roles
    • Proven ability to translate strategy into execution within fast-paced or early-stage environments
    • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset with experience defining KPIs and building performance frameworks
    • Financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, and communicating financial insights
    • Experience managing teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders in complex environments
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level presentations
    • Ability to operate effectively alongside senior leadership and navigate multi-stakeholder environments
    • Experience building and scaling operational systems and processes
    • Familiarity with leveraging AI and modern tools to drive operational improvements is a plus
    • Commitment to mission-driven work and creating positive social impact
    • Benefits:

      • Competitive salary ranging from $200,000 to $240,000 annually
      • Comprehensive healthcare coverage including medical, dental, and vision plans
      • Retirement savings plan with employer contributions
      • Fully remote work environment with flexible scheduling
      • Opportunities for professional growth and leadership development
      • Collaborative and mission-driven culture focused on impact
      • Travel opportunities for team meetings, events, and field engagement
      • Support for home office setup and work-life balance
