Position Overview: We are currently seeking a Senior Director of Talent Operations to lead strategy and operations for Mursion’s delivery team including identifying and scaling internal systems, policies, business processes, and external partnerships to meet the needs of Mursion’s global clients at scale. The ideal candidate will have a background in business operations, workforce planning, and/or strategic management of a large hourly or contingent workforce. This person should also be a data-driven systems-thinker experienced with leading complex change management initiatives, a self-starter, highly organized, and a strong collaborator.
This is an FT, salaried, and fully remote position reporting to the Chief Financial Officer. The compensation package is $150-175K base salary, + discretionary company bonus and benefits based on applied experience, geographic location, and other factors identified by the hiring committee.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and execute a short- and long-term workforce strategy and priorities for simulation delivery that meet the needs of Mursion's client at scale
- Partner with Mursion’s Product team to develop requirements for and establish a comprehensive Resource Management system that will enable effective, scalable, and data-informed management of Mursion’s delivery team
- Partner with Mursion's Product team to prioritize and implement new product features and aligned policies, processes, and systems to streamline the delivery experience for simulation delivery staff
- Identify and expand strategic talent partnerships and the supporting systems, policies, and processes for attracting and scaling Mursion’s delivery staff to meet global timezone and language needs
- Manage the Talent Operations team responsible for day-to-day management, communications, and staffing of delivery talent.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years experience with large-scale labor operations and/or complex resource management
- Strong project management skills
- Strong data management and analysis skills
- Experience managing a P&L
- Experienced team leader (3-5 years in management role) with the ability to coach team members with diverse backgrounds and experiences through stages of career and competency development.
- Ability to manage ambiguous, cross functional problems and work across multiple stakeholders to achieve a common goal
- Experience with product development or collaborating closely with product development function
- Strong communication skills and proven ability to motivate and influence others to take action
- Able to balance between big-picture visioning and sweating the details
- Detail-oriented self starter
