Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate Finance
Job Description
Ibotta is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate Finance to join our innovative team and contribute to our mission to Make Every Purchase Rewarding. This role will provide financial insights and drive strategic efforts across special projects, organic growth opportunities, capital markets, and business development in alignment with the board, CEO/CFO, and the executive team.
This position is located in Denver, Colorado as a hybrid position, requiring 2 days in office. Preferred in-office hybrid days are Tuesday and Thursday. Candidates must live in the United States.
What you will be doing:
Create and structure financial models, analyses, and presentations needed in support of capital and other strategic investments (including NPV, payback period, IRR, sensitivity analysis, and ROI)
Think strategically and leverage analysis from models to aid in decision making
Ensure and validate efficient capital deployment across operating departments
Partner with key stakeholders throughout the organization to create financial visibility and apply sound financial theory to assist in setting business priorities
Partner with the Accounting function to anchor to “actuals” and manage and forecast cash, focusing on liquidity management and optimizing Ibotta's cash conversion cycle
Capture the entirety of financial implications across Ibotta’s P&L, balance sheet, and cash position
Assist in developing a variety of investor, investment, and board deliverables
Demonstrate ownership of ad hoc requests and analyses that drive financial performance and enable internal reporting

What we are looking for:
2+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or transaction services
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field
Possesses a solid understanding of finance and accounting concepts
Advanced knowledge of MS office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
Financial modeling experience building operational, acquisition, and growth models and pro forma financials
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Superior quantitative and analytical skills
Experience preparing board and/or executive level strategic and financial presentation

Additional Details:
This position is located in Denver, CO and includes competitive pay, flexible time off, benefits package (including medical, dental, vision), Lifestyle Spending Account, 401k match, and equity. Denver office perks include paid parking, bagel Thursdays, snacks and occasional meals.
Base compensation range: $80,000 - $110,000. This compensation range is specific to the United States labor market and may be adjusted based on actual experience. Total compensation for this role also includes a variable component in addition to base salary.
