As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will support financial planning, forecasting, and operational analysis for critical business functions.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead financial planning and analysis activities, including annual budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing financial modeling for key business functions.
  • Partner with department leaders to gather financial inputs, align spending plans with strategic priorities, and support effective resource allocation.
  • Build and enhance financial models to forecast operating expenses, identify trends, and highlight potential risks and opportunities.
  • Perform detailed variance analysis by comparing actual performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying root causes, and recommending corrective actions.
  • Prepare clear financial reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate insights and support leadership decision-making.
  • Monitor and analyze operating expenses, including technology-related spending, to ensure alignment with financial objectives.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators to measure efficiency, effectiveness, and financial performance.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting processes by ensuring accurate and timely financial data.
  • Collaborate with finance teams and business stakeholders to improve reporting consistency, processes, and operational efficiency.
  • Communicate financial insights clearly to both financial and non-financial audiences across the organization.
  • Requirements:

    • 3–5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, ideally within a SaaS, technology, or high-growth business environment.
    • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
    • Strong experience with financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and business analysis.
    • Proficiency with spreadsheet tools, including advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills.
    • Experience with financial planning platforms such as Workday or Adaptive Planning is a plus.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable recommendations.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to diverse stakeholders.
    • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong business acumen, proactive mindset, and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
    • Self-motivated team player with a positive attitude and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
    • Ability to work remotely while supporting teams operating in Eastern and Central time zones.
