ABOUT THIS ROLE
We are currently seeking a Sr. FP&A Analyst for our Shared Service Organization to deliver business insight and drive improvement of all FP&A functions for PEAK6 and its subsidiary entities. This individual will report directly to PEAK6's FP&A Manager. Ideal candidates will demonstrate the ability to assess analyze and present financial data to help drive business decisions and to improve cross-business reporting and budgeting processes. They will possess superior analytical modeling and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business leaders and senior management to prepare monthly/quarterly reporting packages that drive business decisions
- Monitor and analyze monthly financial results. Identify relevant trends and key drivers of budget variances. Advise senior leadership of opportunities and risk impacting the organization.
- Provide value-added analytical management reporting including ad hoc requests to help provide the organization with a deeper understanding of cost changes and help identify additional efficiency opportunities.
- Develop annual budget(s) and financial forecasts which will drive appropriate and timely decision making; create and maintain detailed budgeting templates
- Continuously improve and automate financial management processes and analytical tools needed to deliver reporting and budgeting
- Drive cross-business standardization for all FP&A processes
- Build and enhance financial models to evaluate new business and revenue opportunities and expense reduction initiatives
- Assist in the development and enhancement of internal cost allocation methodologies
- Develop credibility and build partnerships with key contacts across the organization to facilitate efficiency knowledge sharing and opportunities for process improvement
- Manipulate large data sets to summarize for management reporting determine results or reveal trends
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Accounting Finance or related degree
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in Accounting and Finance/FP&A
- Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
- NetSuite experience is a plus
- Adaptive Insights experience is a plus
- Strong grasp of income statement balance sheet and cash flow financial statements along with the ability to analyze financial results and assess financial impacts of business decisions.
- Strong written verbal communication and presentation skills; must be able to convey information to all levels of the organization in a clear focused and concise manner

Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills experience and office location. This position also may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in addition to a range of health & wellness benefits enhancing your overall compensation package.
Base Salary Range
$88000-$110000
