The Team

A highly experienced, talented, dedicated, results driven group that's focused on a diverse set of mission critical areas of our business, that include registration, scheduling, test center utilization, finance, capacity management, and fulfillment.

Position

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer to design, develop and deploy software solutions that is passionate in helping build the team, mentoring and inspiring others, and crafting our future.

Requirements

This position requires a combination of technical and personal skills.

Technical Skills

• 10 plus years' Full-Stack Software Development experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS or equivalent technology discipline
• Exceptional Core Java and J2EE principles, and domain ownership
• Strong Angular (highly preferred), SQL, RDBMS experience
• Cloud and on Prem experience
• Experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)

• Leadership qualities that will propel the entire development team to achieve high-quality results
• Continually challenge the team to raise the bar towards the highest quality, best practices, customer satisfaction, and team engagement
• Knows the importance of fun, self-care, and flexibility, especially while in a remote environment
• Passion for excellence, innovation, and pride in producing excellent user experiences

Current technology stack: Java, Angular, JPA, Hibernate, Spring, Web Services (REST/SOAP), Azure

Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. As required by the Colorado, California, Washington State, and New York City laws, the pay range for this position is as follows:

The minimum full-time salary range is between $115,000 - $140,000
