Senior Gen AI Developer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Gen AI Developer based in India.

This role is centered on designing and developing advanced Generative AI solutions that power intelligent, agent-based systems. You will work on building and optimizing LLM-driven applications, AI agents, and end-to-end machine learning pipelines that support real-world enterprise use cases. The position requires strong technical depth in both traditional machine learning and modern generative AI technologies, with a focus on scalable, production-grade implementations. You will collaborate on architecting solutions involving prompt engineering, model integration, and AI orchestration frameworks. The environment is highly technical and innovation-driven, with opportunities to work on cutting-edge applications such as LLM-based assistants and NLQ-to-SQL systems. This role is fully remote within India and offers exposure to advanced AI stacks, including both proprietary and open-source models. Your work will directly shape intelligent systems that solve complex business and data challenges.

• Design, develop, and deploy Generative AI solutions, including LLM-based systems, AI agents, and intelligent automation workflows.
• Build and optimize end-to-end machine learning pipelines for training, evaluation, and production deployment of AI models.
• Develop and integrate LLM-powered applications using prompt engineering, agent frameworks, and model orchestration techniques.
• Implement AI solutions using frameworks such as LangChain and LangGraph, enabling scalable agent-based architectures.
• Work with Python to build APIs, wrappers, utilities, and production-ready AI services.
• Evaluate and improve model performance using statistical analysis, embeddings, and vector-based retrieval systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design robust AI architectures and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Contribute to advanced use cases such as NLQ-to-SQL systems, recommendation engines, and generative AI applications.

Requirements:

• 4–6+ years of experience in AI/ML, including at least 2+ years in traditional machine learning and strong exposure to Generative AI systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience building scalable ML/AI applications.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs (e.g., GPT, Llama), prompt engineering, and agent-based AI design.
• Experience with frameworks such as LangChain and LangGraph for building AI agents and workflows.
• Strong understanding of machine learning concepts, including deep learning, NLP, embeddings, and transformer-based architectures.
• Experience working with tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and vector databases.
• Ability to design end-to-end ML systems, from data processing to model deployment and optimization.
• Strong problem-solving and solution-design thinking with the ability to architect complex AI systems.
• Excellent communication skills, including experience in client-facing or consulting-style roles.
• Preferred: background in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or Mathematics from reputed institutions (IIT/NIT/IIIT/BITS).
• Bonus: experience in domains such as finance, healthcare, or insurance.
