As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable, resilient, and high-performance cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with engineering teams to automate processes, optimize operations, and ensure reliability across AWS and GCP environments. This position requires a proactive, hands-on engineer with deep expertise in cloud architecture, SRE principles, and infrastructure automation. You will influence key infrastructure decisions, improve developer workflows, and implement intelligent, AI-augmented solutions to streamline system management. Accountabilities:

Design, implement, and maintain scalable, resilient, and high-performance infrastructure solutions aligned with business requirements.

Automate infrastructure provisioning and configurations using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.

Apply SRE practices to enhance system reliability, reduce downtime, and manage incident response processes.

Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines, developer self-service tools, and deployment processes to improve operational efficiency.

Develop and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve infrastructure issues.

Collaborate across engineering teams to influence architecture decisions and ensure smooth delivery of software services.

Lead post-incident reviews and drive continuous improvement in reliability, scalability, and operational practices.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, preferably with AWS and GCP.

Proven experience with AWS services such as EKS, S3, RDS, API Gateway, Load Balancers, VPC, Lambda, DocumentDB, and DynamoDB.

Strong proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and automation.

Experience with containerized applications, Kubernetes, microservices, and CI/CD workflows (GitHub Actions or similar).

Familiarity with monitoring, observability tools, and networking concepts including DNS, load balancing, firewalls, and VPNs.

Solid software engineering skills in languages like Java, Python, or TypeScript to collaborate effectively with product teams.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and across teams.

Experience implementing SRE principles and improving developer workflows through automation.
