Our office is located in the technology park of Sophia Antipolis. We have a hybrid work mode with two days (of your choice) in the office per week and up to three days working from home.

Job Description

What You'll Do:

• 🛠️ Craft a Seamless Ricardo iOS App: Build, enhance, and maintain our top-notch iOS app.
• 💡 Innovate: Translate high-level concepts and requirements into practical, effective solutions.
• 🕵️ Proactively Solve Issues: Monitor, detect, and resolve issues before they become problems.
• 🧠 Review & Collaborate: Engage in design and code reviews, working closely with Designers, Product Managers, and fellow Engineers in a cross-functional agile team.
• 🌟 Impact Culture: Drive a positive engineering culture by encouraging knowledge sharing and sparking technical discussions.

Our Cool Tech:

• 💻 Programming Language: Young project iOS, written entirely in Swift
• 📱 UI code: As much new UI code as possible is in SwiftUI. Parts of the project are UIKit, with a migration plan in place.
• 🛠️ Concurrency: We use modern Swift Concurrency, as we gradually transition from RxSwift
• ♻️ Continuous Integration: We use CircleCI, to run linter and unit tests on every branch, and to automate our release
• ☁️ Backend: We develop our own Mobile Backend for Frontend (BFF) in Go
• 🔭 Cross-platform: We are experimenting with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) to boost collaboration between iOS and Android engineers
• 🏃 Release cadence: We QA and release on a bi-weekly schedule

Qualifications

What You Bring:

• 📱 Experience: 3 to 5 years of building stellar mobile apps for iOS (Swift - SwiftUI and UIKit).
• 🧼 Clean Code Lover: Passionate about writing clean, reusable code and mobile development.
• 🚀 Willingness to grow beyond iOS development.
• 🌍 English Proficiency: A good command of English.

Bonus Points If You:

• 🌐 Are familiar with designing REST APIs.
• 🤖 Have experience in building Android apps (Kotlin).
• 🔗 Have worked with a microservice architecture.
