Senior IT Analyst, Product Development

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior IT Analyst, Product Development based in India.

This role sits at the intersection of product development, enterprise IT systems, and global supply chain operations, supporting end-to-end product lifecycle processes in a fast-paced, international environment. You will play a key role in ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of critical product development platforms used across global teams. The position involves hands-on problem solving, system analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders across business and technology functions. You will contribute to both support and strategic initiatives, helping translate business needs into scalable technical solutions. The role also includes involvement in process design, testing, deployment, and system enhancements. It is a highly collaborative environment where analytical thinking, technical depth, and supply chain understanding directly impact operational efficiency and product innovation.

• Lead and support ongoing application and platform support activities, including issue resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous system improvement across product development systems.
• Participate in end-to-end project lifecycle activities including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and documentation of business and functional specifications.
• Develop and maintain process flow documentation, test scripts, and system validation activities to ensure high-quality delivery of enhancements and fixes.
• Provide user support across global regions, including participation in off-hours support rotation and incident resolution when required.
• Ensure compliance with IT governance standards including system access control, data security, and change management policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver improvements across product development and supply chain systems while supporting training and knowledge sharing.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in product development and supply chain domains to drive innovation and efficiency.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of experience as an IT Analyst or Senior IT Analyst with strong exposure to product development and enterprise supply chain environments. You should have strong technical expertise in SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting, along with solid experience in Java (including Struts), JSP, HTML, and enterprise application support. Hands-on experience with PLM/PDM systems, supply chain tools, and product lifecycle management processes is essential. You should also have experience working with platforms such as Smartsheet, PowerApps, Power Automate, SharePoint, Excel macros, and VB scripting. Strong understanding of product development processes—from ideation to manufacturing—is critical, along with experience in Agile or structured project delivery methodologies. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills are required, as well as a customer-centric mindset and strong communication abilities. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is expected.

• Strong experience in SQL, Java (Struts), JSP, and web technologies (HTML)
• Hands-on expertise in PLM/PDM and supply chain/product development systems
• Experience with Power Platform tools (PowerApps, Power Automate, SharePoint) and Excel/VB scripting
• Knowledge of product lifecycle processes across design, development, and manufacturing

• Experience working in cross-functional, global teams with strong communication skills
• Ability to manage support, enhancements, and project delivery simultaneously
