Senior Legal Counsel, China

Responsibilities:
• Provides comprehensive legal support and strategic counsel for CSL Operations, Commercial Operations or an assigned Global function
• Stays informed and advises management on legal, regulatory, healthcare and compliance issues, working with external experts as needed
• Reviews, drafts, and negotiates agreements
• Ensures business processes and activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
• Develops and delivers training on legal matters
• Directs contract strategy and legal support and advertising, promotional, and communications campaigns provides strategic counsel on drug regulatory, GxP and other relevant laws and regulations.
• Participates in, manages and implements group initiatives and projects
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree and J.D. or equivalent foreign degree
• Bar admission in relevant region or permission to practice in-house
• 8+ years' legal experience
• Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device industry
• Strong negotiating and drafting skills, communication and stakeholder influencing skills, business acumen and judgment
