Senior Mainframe Developer

About the role:
As a Mainframe Developer you will be part of our Connectivity team. You must be able to work autonomously and produce high quality work. This will take self-discipline and time management. You may be required to attend early morning meetings as you will work closely with our India based team.
What we are looking for:

• 8+ years of mainframe experience
• Strong experience in designing and implementing mainframe applications in an IBM z/OS environment.
• Strong knowledge of programming in C, C++, Assembler, JCL and REXX on z/OS
• Good Knowledge of build and test automation
• Good knowledge of Diagnostics, Debugging and Troubleshooting skills on mainframe applications
• Must be proficient with problem determination, analysis and resolution.
• Experience in managing source code with Git repository or any other version control system.

Desired (nice-to-have) Skills

• Exposure to Mainframe modernization
• Knowledge on IBM z/OS security systems like RACF, ACF2 or Top Secret
• Exposure to Java
