This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Manager, Demand Generation based in Canada.

Accountabilities

The Senior Manager, Demand Generation will own the strategy, execution, and optimization of revenue-focused marketing programs designed to engage enterprise customers and drive measurable business growth. Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute the annual B2B marketing strategy, defining priorities, investment areas, campaign themes, and programs aligned with revenue objectives.
  • Build a deep understanding of enterprise buyers, market trends, and customer needs to refine positioning and engagement strategies.
  • Partner with revenue leadership to identify market opportunities, growth initiatives, and strategic account priorities.
  • Act as a bridge between marketing, sales, partnerships, product marketing, and customer success teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment.
  • Design and execute targeted demand generation campaigns that create awareness, engagement, qualified opportunities, and pipeline growth.
  • Build account-based marketing programs using channels such as paid media, email marketing, personalized outreach, and targeted campaigns.
  • Leverage buyer intent signals, AI-powered workflows, automation, and marketing technology to improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Continuously test, analyze, and optimize programs based on performance data and business priorities.
  • Own the organization’s market presence through social media strategy, executive thought leadership, content promotion, and audience growth initiatives.
  • Develop content strategies that support the full buyer journey, including awareness, consideration, and sales acceleration.
  • Partner with product marketing teams to transform customer insights, industry trends, and product value into compelling stories.
  • Create customer success content, ROI-focused case studies, and proof points demonstrating measurable business outcomes.
  • Lead event and field marketing strategies, including industry conferences, executive meetings, customer events, and networking programs.
  • Ensure marketing initiatives have clear objectives, measurable outcomes, and effective follow-up strategies.
  • Define and track key performance metrics connecting marketing activities to pipeline contribution and revenue impact.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to improve attribution, reporting, lead management, and funnel visibility.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, AI tools, and automation opportunities to improve marketing efficiency and scalability.
  • Promote a culture of experimentation, learning, and continuous improvement.
  • Requirements

    The ideal candidate is a strategic B2B marketing professional with strong demand generation experience, revenue ownership, and the ability to build impactful campaigns targeting enterprise audiences. Required qualifications include:

    • 5+ years of experience in B2B demand generation, preferably selling into enterprise grocery, retail, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or similar industries.
    • Proven experience owning marketing strategy, channel investments, and campaign performance.
    • Strong track record of designing, launching, measuring, and optimizing multi-channel demand generation programs.
    • Experience managing account-based marketing strategies and targeted enterprise campaigns.
    • Demonstrated ability to develop content, including campaign messaging, email campaigns, event materials, and customer-facing assets.
    • Experience leading trade shows, industry events, executive dinners, and field marketing programs.
    • Strong understanding of B2B buyer journeys, pipeline generation, and revenue attribution.
    • Ability to communicate marketing strategies clearly and effectively to both marketing and sales stakeholders.
    • Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to guide decisions and measure impact.
    • Proficiency with AI-powered marketing tools and modern B2B marketing technologies.
