Senior Manager, Global Billing Operations (Remote, USA)

Grafana is looking for a driven, high performance Senior Manager, Global Billing to lead the revenue operational processes! Reporting to our Director of Revenue Accounting, this is an opportunity to join a fast growing startup and play a driving role in our accounting and financial operations.Â
The ideal candidate will have experience managing a high growth AR function and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. This individual will play a key role as we evolve our OTC cycle.
Responsibilities:- Manage all facets of daily operations of the billing function to ensure accurate and timely processing of billings and collections.
- Facilitate billing incident management and reporting to address root cause analysis and drive continuous improvement
- Review customer invoices in accordance with customer requirements.
- Support the monthly and quarterly financial close by providing timely and accurate billing results
- Oversee daily collections effort including implementing a collections and communication policy
- Own billing inbox, ensuring timely processing and responses to internal and external inquiries.
- Serve as the business lead for core billing systems and technology updates and implementations
- Implement and document processes and procedures as business needs evolve.
- Assist all quarterly and annual audit requirements.
- Support cross-functional efforts and build relationships with other teams including Accounting, FP&A, Customer Success, Deal Desk, and Legal.
- Perform special, ad-hoc projects in Accounting/Finance as requested.
- Experience leading people and scaling teams with shown leadership skills growing an organization
- Analytical problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and customer service skills is required, as well as eagerness to learn and take on challenges in a rapidly growing and dynamic environment
- Team player and effective communicator with all levels of management and organizations.
- Proactive, self motivated with the ability to manage priorities and execute in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Proficient in working with Salesforce
- Excellent computer skills with MS Office Software, Excel, Word, and Powerpoint; and independently take ownership to manage assigned projects
In the United States, the base compensation range for this role is $116,000 - $146,000. Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset as assessed in the interview process. Benefits include equity, bonus (if applicable), and other benefits listed on our careers page.
