Job Description

We're looking for a Senior Manager of Site Testing & Optimization to own our web experimentation program. This is a strategic, hands-on role for someone who thinks in hypotheses, moves with precision, and takes full ownership from idea through measurement. You will lead a rigorous testing culture - turning behavioral insights into structured experiments that drive conversion and elevate the user experience.

What You'll Do

  • Own the end-to-end experimentation roadmap for Equinox.com, always maintaining a prioritized backlog of tests

  • Hypothesize, create and manage experiments end-to-end, from simple copy and landing page tests to more complex content, feature, and experience tests

  • Partner with U/X & Engineering when tests require deeper development support, scoping business and user requirements clearly

  • Define success metrics and partner with Marketing Analytics to set up measurement correctly before every test launches

  • Monitor live experiments, flag issues early, and make sound calls on when tests have reached significance

  • Own the readout for experiment (results, learnings, and recommended next steps) and communicate them clearly to stakeholders

  • Ensure successful deployment and full roll-out of winning experiment

  • Develop & maintain a testing dashboard that gives the broader organization full visibility into what's running, what's won, and what's learned

  • Continuously source test ideas from analytics, user research, competitive analysis, and cross-functional partners

  • 5+ years of experience in eCommerce, Product, or Conversion Rate Optimization

  • A hypothesis-first mindset: you instinctively frame problems as testable questions, design experiments with clear logic, and interpret results with statistical rigor

  • Hands-on fluency with a web experimentation platform (Optimizely, VWO, Adobe Target, or equivalent)

  • Comfort partnering with engineering teams to scope and execute more complex tests, you know how to communicate requirements clearly and keep momentum

  • Proficiency in Adobe Analytics, GA4, Contentsquare or a comparable analytics platform so you can pull your own data

  • Strong communication skills: you can present results and make recommendations to non-technical stakeholders with clarity and conviction

A genuine obsession with site performance, user behavior, and what drives conversion

Pay Transparency: $125K - $160K, compensation is dependent on years of experience and qualifications

AS A MEMBER OF THE EQUINOX TEAM YOU WILL RECEIVE:

  • We offer competitive salary, benefits, and industry leading commission opportunities for club employees

  • Complimentary Club membership

  • Perks and incentives with our products and services including Personal Training, Pilates, Spa and Shop
