Senior Media Intelligence

This role is critical to oversee and track all media coverage for GoTo, Gojek, GTF, and also Tokopedia. Through media monitoring, we can track the public sentiment, gain insight on competitors, analyze external perception towards our company’s reputation, and mitigate issues quickly. This role also allows CA to measure our success and lessons learned from all the efforts that we take to build the company’s reputation. This role is important as the PIC will be the liaison between CA and the engineering team to automate some parts of the media monitoring process, which will make our work efficient and effective. The person will also be in charge of delivering coverage report.

What you will do

• Media Monitoring: 

Monitor corporate and industry related information across news channels through media monitoring tools

Assess media coverage trends, sentiment, and topics discussion to gain insights into public perception towards GoTo and its industries

Identify conversation trends and potential issues relevant to the company’s needs.




• Data analysis:

Perform data cleansing, validation, and preliminary analysis to ensure data integrity and quality.

Generate regular and ad-hoc reports on media performance, sentiment analysis, and competitive benchmarking.

Collaborate with business units to understand their needs and provide data-driven actionable insights to improve media relations, decision making, and communication plans 




• Media Monitoring Technology & Infrastructure management:

Maintain and update media monitoring databases and reporting tools/dashboards.

Continuous assessment of existing tools’ usability, functionality, & performance

Promptly report bugs, glitches, errors to the technology team

What you will need

• 3+ years experience in media analytics, social listenings and other relevant fields
• Strong analytical skills along with the ability to visualize and interpret data into easy-to-consume actionable insights
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal 
• Familiarity with statistical analysis and data management principles
• Advance proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Spreadsheets, PowerPoint or Google Slide and data visualization tools such as Looker Studio. 
• Basic knowledge of SQL is a plus
• High proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia, both written and verbal, to convey complex data and information in a clear and concise manner
• A collaborative team member and an independent self-starter
