Autodesk is looking for a Senior Mobile Software Engineer (Android preferred, iOS considered) to help us build the future faster. Our users are building some of the most amazing construction projects in the world, and our platform is their central information point. Our tech stack is diverse, so you will get exposure to many technologies including Kotlin, Kotlin/Native, Swift, Objective C, and more. This role is remote in Mexico or Brazil.

As a Senior Mobile Software Engineer in the Data Delivery group, you'll collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and other engineers to design and implement user-centric mobile applications built for construction managers and field workers alike. You will be at the forefront of our effort to shape the next generation of multiplatform Android & iOS applications that simplify workflows and provide actionable insights in real-world construction scenarios.

Responsibilities

• You'll tackle difficult and interesting challenges and help build and architect our next generation of mobile applications
• Utilizing and extending our Kotlin based model-view-intent framework used in both our Android and iOS applications
• Building slick and responsive UIs that can handle large amounts of user-generated data
• Building tools to streamline communication and collaboration on the construction site
• Tackling synchronization and consistency that allows our users to work and edit offline
• Integrating internal and third-party API's with new or existing frameworks
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to improve quality and performance

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years of mobile development experience
• Have the passion and dedication to write highly scalable, reliable code
• Have expertise with building applications in Kotlin and Kotlin/Native
• Have familiarity or experience with iOS apps in Objective-C and Swift
• Team player - you love to teach others about cool new tricks you learned and absorb tips and tricks from developers; love solving problems as a team across platforms

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with both iOS and Android development
• Experience with at least one server-side framework (Rails, Django, Flask, etc.) and/or any other native client experience (.NET MAUI, React Native, etc.)
