Senior Mobile Engineer (iOS)

Gorilla Logic is looking for a senior Android mobile application developer, who will work with a team of engineers developing our client’s mobile application. Our environment will require you to work effectively with your teammates, of course. But your real success will be measured by how well you couple critical thinking with self-motivation, enthusiasm, and determination.

Responsibilities

*Design and develop mobile applications, new features, and web services

*Develop mobile application test suites to improve quality, reliability, and resiliency

*Use a diverse set of tools to solve complex speech recognition, machine learning, audio processing, and user experience problems

*Work with enterprise tools such as MDM and Identity Management platforms

*Target iOS, Android, and server-side platforms built in Java, Python, C/C++, or similar

*Implement and design UX/UI solutions

*Incorporate APIs and third-party libraries

*Optimize mobile application performance

*Work with agile teams to develop software to incorporate customer feedback, and deliver continuous incremental improvement

*Learn new technologies as required to solve our evolving set of problems and capitalize on opportunities

*Collaborate with team members to design, develop, and implement software releases

Technical Requirements

*Design and develop mobile applications in Swift, Objective-C, Java, and Kotlin

*Implement automated tests of mobile application features and functionality

*Identify, design, propose, and implement improvements

*5+ years of experience developing mobile applications

*Experienced on Windows or Mac, Linux, iOS, and Android

*Experience with Apple App Store Connect and Google Play Store

*Enjoy and seek out learning new technologies

*Juggle multiple projects effectively

*Communicate effectively and build interpersonal relationships

*Contribute to code reviews

Bonus Skills

*Experience developing applications for MDM integration

*Experience with Fastlane, Firebase, TestFlight, and/or Google Analytics

*Healthcare experience

*Audio processing, machine learning, or speech recognition experience

*Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
