This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Operational Strategy Strategist. In this role, you will define the operational strategies that drive our projects forward, working closely with a Project Director and various stakeholders. Your expertise will be essential in preparing commercial proposals and presentations for bid defense meetings, ensuring all aspects of the operational strategy are clearly communicated. By collaborating with internal and external partners, you will identify risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, playing a key role in our mission to deliver high-quality projects effectively and efficiently.

Accountabilities

  • Define operational strategy in collaboration with the Project Director and key collaborators.
  • Review RFP and client documents to identify project requirements.
  • Research historical trial performance and competitive landscape to inform strategy.
  • Engage with external KOLs and clients to gather necessary information.
  • Collaborate with leadership to address protocol design and enrollment challenges.
  • Adjust operational strategy based on site selection team's pre-feasibility results.
  • Confirm vendor recommendations for proposed trials.
  • Recommend operational strategies to internal decision makers.
  • Provide final operational strategy to budget and proposal managers.
  • Define resource needs for project delivery.
  • Create and review proposal content to ensure alignment with strategy.
  • Guide project teams in developing presentations for bid defense meetings.
  • Maintain knowledge of tools that inform operational strategy.
  • Participate in BD handovers and provide initial risk assessments.
  • Act as a resource for project teams during clinical trials.
  • Requirements

  • B.Sc. in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in clinical operations/project management.
  • Experience in dermatology is essential.
  • Minimum 2 years in a leadership role in project management.
  • Experience in a CRO is required.
  • Excellent understanding of CRO services related to clinical projects.
  • Proficient knowledge of ICH-GCP standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English; French is an asset.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and build strong relationships.
  • Strong organizational, communication, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership, judgment, and problem-solving capabilities.
