This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Paid Advertising Strategist based in the United States.

This role offers the opportunity to lead high-impact paid media strategies and drive measurable growth for a diverse portfolio of client accounts.
You will combine deep advertising expertise, data-driven analysis, and strategic thinking to optimize campaign performance and influence business outcomes.
Working across paid search, paid social, analytics, and client strategy, you will act as a trusted advisor helping clients make smarter marketing decisions.
The position requires a balance of technical campaign knowledge, business understanding, and strong communication skills.
You will contribute to improving advertising processes, mentoring team members, and shaping best practices within a performance-focused environment.

Accountabilities:

As a Sr. Paid Advertising Strategist, you will own paid media strategy and performance across multiple client accounts while providing strategic guidance and leadership. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing paid advertising strategies across platforms such as Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and other relevant channels.
  • Managing campaign performance, including budgets, pacing, conversion trends, lead quality, cost efficiency, and overall account health.
  • Translating client objectives into actionable paid media strategies, campaign structures, testing plans, and performance benchmarks.
  • Identifying performance risks, optimization opportunities, and growth strategies before issues impact results.
  • Leading campaign optimization initiatives, including audience targeting, creative testing, bidding strategies, and conversion improvements.
  • Analyzing campaign data and transforming insights into strategic recommendations that improve ROI.
  • Serving as a senior advisor during client meetings, performance reviews, and strategic planning discussions.
  • Presenting complex campaign insights in a clear and actionable way for clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Influencing client decisions through data-driven recommendations, industry expertise, and performance analysis.
  • Partnering with client success, analytics, SEO, creative, and development teams to deliver integrated strategies.
  • Mentoring and supporting other paid advertising professionals through coaching, knowledge sharing, and best practice development.
  • Contributing to internal training, workflow improvements, and the continuous evolution of paid media strategies.
  • Staying current with advertising platform updates, automation technologies, AI-driven advertising solutions, and industry trends.
  • Requirements:

    The ideal candidate is a strategic paid media professional with strong analytical skills, client management experience, and expertise in digital advertising platforms. You should have:

    • 7+ years of experience in digital marketing, paid search, paid social, or paid media campaign management.
    • Proven experience managing paid advertising strategies for multiple clients or complex advertising accounts.
    • Strong hands-on experience with platforms including Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics, and related reporting tools.
    • Deep understanding of paid search, paid social, conversion tracking, attribution, budget management, and campaign optimization.
    • Experience presenting campaign performance insights and strategic recommendations to clients or senior stakeholders.
    • Strong analytical ability with the skill to turn performance data into actionable business recommendations.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence clients and internal teams.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities, solve complex performance challenges, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proactive mindset with strong ownership, accountability, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to mentor teammates and contribute to improving team performance.
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
    • Google Ads and/or Google Analytics certifications preferred.
    • Experience with advertising automation platforms such as Fluency is a plus.
    • Prior agency experience preferred.
    • Automotive industry experience is strongly preferred but not required.
