Working closely with technical teams and business stakeholders, you will transform complex data into meaningful insights while establishing governance standards and best practices. This position is ideal for a data professional who enjoys balancing hands-on development with platform ownership in a collaborative, analytics-driven environment where innovation and operational excellence are equally valued.

Accountabilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise Power BI reports and dashboards that support healthcare, financial, operational, and business analytics.
  • Build and optimize semantic models, data relationships, calculated columns, and advanced DAX measures to deliver accurate and scalable reporting solutions.
  • Collaborate with business, clinical, and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Ensure reporting solutions follow best practices for performance, usability, scalability, governance, and security.
  • Administer the Power BI Service by managing workspaces, user access, row-level security, dataset refreshes, gateways, deployment pipelines, and licensing.
  • Monitor report and dataset performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and optimize platform reliability across development, testing, and production environments.
  • Establish and maintain Power BI standards, documentation, governance frameworks, and operational procedures that promote consistency and long-term scalability.
  • Support enterprise analytics initiatives and contribute to continuous improvements across the organization's business intelligence ecosystem.
  • Requirements

    • 5+ years of professional experience designing, developing, and supporting Power BI solutions in enterprise environments.
    • Advanced expertise with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service; experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI Premium, or Power BI Embedded is highly desirable.
    • Strong SQL and T-SQL development skills, including complex querying, performance tuning, data transformation, and data cleansing.
    • Solid understanding of data modeling, dimensional modeling, and data warehousing principles.
    • Experience working with Azure-based data platforms such as Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, or similar technologies.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of Power BI administration, including security, row-level security, workspace management, dataset refreshes, gateways, deployment pipelines, and governance.
    • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities with the capability to independently manage projects from design through deployment.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
    • Experience working with healthcare data, claims, payers, providers, PBMs, TPAs, or HIPAA-compliant environments is strongly preferred.
    • Microsoft Power BI, Azure, or Microsoft Power Platform certifications are considered an advantage.
    • Benefits

      • Competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 USD, based on experience and qualifications.
      • Eligibility for performance-based bonuses, merit increases, or additional compensation where applicable.
      • Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage.
      • 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching contributions.
      • Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA).
      • Paid Time Off (PTO) and disability leave.
      • Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
      • Fully remote work opportunity within the United States.
