This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Principal, Consulting - Health Plan & Healthcare Provider in the United States.

This senior leadership role sits at the intersection of healthcare transformation, strategic consulting, and data-driven experience management. The position is designed for an experienced advisor who thrives in complex, high-impact environments across health plans and provider organizations. You will guide executive stakeholders in shaping patient-centered strategies that improve outcomes, engagement, and operational performance. Acting as a trusted partner to C-suite and board-level leaders, you will lead large-scale consulting engagements with multiple workstreams. The role requires strong program leadership capabilities, including governance design, execution oversight, and performance measurement. You will also contribute to innovation across consulting methodologies, tools, and delivery models. This is a highly visible role with national scope and significant travel, offering the opportunity to influence healthcare systems at scale.

Accountabilities:

  • Build and lead a Program Office function from the ground up, defining governance frameworks, standards, and best practices for program delivery.
  • Partner with senior leadership to prioritize, structure, and execute strategic initiatives across complex healthcare environments.
  • Oversee multi-workstream projects, ensuring high-quality delivery, alignment with client goals, and measurable outcomes.
  • Establish reporting systems, KPIs, and performance dashboards to track progress and drive accountability.
  • Develop and maintain trusted advisory relationships with executive-level stakeholders, including C-suite and board members.
  • Identify client needs and connect them with appropriate resources to maximize impact and value delivery.
  • Lead proposal development, budgeting, and project planning activities aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Drive innovation within consulting practices, enhancing methodologies, tools, and delivery approaches.
  • Support incremental growth through strategic relationship management and solution expansion.
  • Requirements:

    • 10+ years of experience in healthcare consulting, strategy, or senior leadership advisory roles.
    • Proven success in executive stakeholder management and large-scale transformation programs.
    • Strong expertise in experience measurement, behavioral science approaches, or related analytical disciplines.
    • Demonstrated ability to deliver complex, multi-stream implementations across healthcare ecosystems.
    • Excellent analytical, conceptual, and communication skills with the ability to influence senior decision-makers.
    • Deep understanding of healthcare industry dynamics, including both provider and health plan perspectives.
    • Prior experience in consulting environments and leadership of senior teams strongly preferred.
    • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
    • Willingness and ability to travel nationally up to 75 percent.
