Senior Product Manager, Caregiver Experience
Job Description
Spring Health is looking for a Senior Product Manager to develop a cohesive end-to-end experience for our caregivers. This candidate will put caregivers and patients first by understanding their behavior, and apply empathy to craft meaningful solutions. Additionally, this candidate will be a strong systems thinker whose contributions will directly impact clinical outcomes, gross margins, and the integrity of our provider network.
What you’ll be doing:
- Contribute to our vision to eliminate every barrier to mental healthcare and establish Spring Health as global center of excellence for behavioral health
- Cultivate a deep understanding of our caregivers and how they care for our members throughout their journey, and advocate for solutions based on their needs and pain points
- Be an evangelist for creating the best product experience that also hits business goals
- Develop deep relationships and partner closely with cross-functional teams (i.e., care operations, provider operations, medical affairs) and external stakeholders (i.e., patients, providers) to gain an understanding of the key problems to focus on and how we plan to solve them
- Present data-driven insights about the competitive environment and our users and propose solutions that have a meaningful impact on core metrics for the business
- Work with the leadership team and the wider product organization to define, prioritize, and own a roadmap, based on user and business impact
- Scope, plan (i.e., product requirement documents, sprint plans, epics, and user stories), and execute with your pod (design, engineering, and data science) to launch valuable and high quality experiences across our platform
- Determine and optimize the key performance indicators for your team
- Drive and improve the product development process with your team, ensuring that features shipped are high-quality and on-time
What we expect from you:
- 5+ years of technical or product development experience
- You recognize when Product processes need to be improved and can take the lead on implementing new approaches
- You have a technical background and the ability to understand data, integrations, and platforms. You can envision how systems work together on top of complex platforms to serve multiple user groups
- Experience in a healthcare setting
- Strong project management skill set, including building out timelines, managing risks, and communicating progress on initiatives both horizontally and vertically
- Self starter with bias towards delivery towards business outcomes
- You’ve provided top-quality written and in-person presentations to strategic and executive leaders. You can simplify the most complicated concepts for any audience
- You are deeply user-centered and highly empathetic. You have an intuitive understanding of what makes a good user experience, can quickly recognize problematic experiences, and work collaboratively with design partners to manifest those principles into product solutions
- You’re an analytical, metrics-driven thinker who is deeply empathetic and leads with a user-centered approach
- You learn new technologies quickly and can comfortably and effectively discuss the tradeoffs and benefits of various approaches with your engineering peers
- Exceptional team player skills who follows up with team members and stakeholders, and take initiative to anticipate and solve problems
- You have a proven track record of entering a new space and building expertise rapidly
Bonus Qualifications:
- Experience in building HIPAA compliant / healthcare-focused software
- Experience working on both web and mobile applications
- Quantitative background (e.g., mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering)
The target salary range for this position is $159,000 - $175,000, and is part of a competitive total rewards package including stock options, benefits, and incentive pay for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
