Job Description
Team: Product
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Product Manager based in Canada.
This role sits at the heart of a fast-growing fintech environment focused on helping consumers make smarter financial decisions across savings, borrowing, investing, and protection products. You will own the end-to-end strategy and execution for a key product portfolio, shaping digital experiences used by millions of users across Canada. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on product execution, requiring a strong ability to turn complex, ambiguous challenges into clear, data-driven product direction. You will work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and executive stakeholders to define high-impact initiatives and deliver measurable business outcomes. A strong emphasis is placed on experimentation, funnel optimization, and AI-enabled personalization to improve user experiences and conversion. This is a highly visible role where your decisions directly influence product growth, revenue, and customer financial wellbeing. You will operate in a collaborative, high-velocity environment built on experimentation, ownership, and continuous improvement.
Accountabilities:
- Own the end-to-end product strategy for a core financial product portfolio, translating market trends, user insights, and business goals into a clear and scalable roadmap.
- Define and drive a vision for AI-powered personalization that improves user engagement, relevance, and financial decision-making.
- Lead product execution across cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and QA, ensuring clear requirements, scope, and success criteria.
- Manage backlog prioritization, Agile ceremonies, and delivery planning to ensure predictable and high-quality execution.
- Establish product success metrics, dashboards, and reporting frameworks to track performance and inform decision-making.
- Make data-driven trade-offs between scope, timelines, and technical constraints while maintaining alignment with strategic goals.
- Lead go-to-market planning and execution in partnership with marketing, operations, and business stakeholders.
- Optimize user funnels through experimentation, A/B testing, and continuous iteration to improve conversion and revenue.
- Partner with content and growth teams to improve digital experiences, SEO performance, and landing page effectiveness.
- Continuously identify market opportunities by analyzing fintech trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging technologies.
- Bring structure to ambiguous problems by defining hypotheses, testing frameworks, and scalable product solutions.
- 5+ years of product management experience, with ownership of end-to-end product lines in fintech, B2C, or high-growth digital environments.
- Proven ability to define product strategy and drive roadmap decisions, not just execute predefined requirements.
- Strong expertise in product analytics, user testing, A/B testing, and conversion rate optimization.
- Solid Agile/Scrum experience, with a track record of delivering MVPs and iterative product improvements.
- Experience incorporating AI tools or AI-driven approaches into product workflows or user experiences.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable product decisions.
- Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to influence executive and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Ability to structure complex, ambiguous problems into clear product hypotheses and execution plans.
- Highly organized and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
- Genuine interest in personal finance and improving financial outcomes for end users.
- Bonus: experience in fintech, marketplaces, or AI-driven personalization products.
- Competitive compensation aligned with Canadian market benchmarks (110,000–150,000 CAD range)
- Remote-first work environment across Canada
- Flexible working hours supporting work-life balance
- Comprehensive health and dental coverage with no employee premiums
- RRSP matching program for long-term financial planning
- Professional development budget and learning support
- Regular team social events (virtual and in-person)
- Inclusive, collaborative, and growth-oriented culture
- Opportunities to work on high-impact, high-scale fintech products
