What You'll Be Doing:

Dev Technology Group has an immediate opening for a Program Manager. The selected candidate will work closely with the Government client to ensure that all task requirements and requests are addressed in a timely and professional manner, and to address any issues that arise in the process of developing recommendations and strategies. This position is remote with a requirement to be onsite at our offices or clients sites as requested and the ability to travel if required. Our estimated salary range for this position is $135,00 - 200,000, this presented salary range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Offered salary is based on experience, geographic location,  and possibly contractual requirements as appropriate to the role. *Salary could fall outside of this range. 

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of a highly skilled team to ensure successful delivery of plans and implementation of strategies to improve how the agency manages multiple development and O&M contracts supporting a variety of systems.  
  • Works with the client to establish team priorities and establish a roadmap identifying the future direction of the team and systems
  • Manage the project schedule, and financial performance, and ensure deliverables and milestones are completed on time
  • Meet frequently with the program customers to establish and maintain a relationship based on trust
  • Support the project team, removing blockers and addressing external dependencies as needed
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction scores
  • Support corporate initiatives
  • Manage project team members, including hiring team members and managing team member performance and career growth 

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • Minimum of 9 years of IT related experience with a Masters degree preferred or 13 years of IT related experience with a Bachelors
  • Minimum of 5 years in project manager or project lead role
  • Experience leading highly effective teams in the agile delivery of software
  • Direct experience with automations and modernizations in a federal agency environment
  • Proven track record of successfully managing software development projects or tasks on schedule and within budget
  • Experience with planning, organizing, and controlling assigned activities from conceptual to final stages of the development life cycle to meet performance objectives and customer satisfaction metrics
  • Must excel at establishing trust and fostering positive relationships with client and fellow team members
  • Must demonstrate the ability to have strong, proactive client communication delivered with energy and vision
  • Superb client communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Familiarity with Agile development approaches including Scrum, Kanban, or Lean practices

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • PMP certification strongly preferred
  • CSM certification preferred
  • Masters degree preferred
