The role:
Simple Technology Solutions (STS) is looking for a Senior Proposal Manager. We are looking for an energetic individual that will be responsible for leading the development of proposal and market research responses to government solicitations and requests for information (GSA STARS III, GSA MAS, CIO-SP4, SAM.gov). The Senior Proposal Manager will manage the proposal development process including developing artifacts like the proposal compliance matrix, schedule, annotated outline, and data calls to teammates. This individual will also write sections of the proposal and serve as a color team reviewer, as needed. They will manage the proposal process across internal staff and external subcontractors, vendors, and consultants.
The Senior Proposal Manager will:
- Develop and manage the proposal process and timeline to ensure timely submissions of high-quality proposal responses
- Analyze and interpret Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Information (RFIs), and other complex solicitations to produce comprehensive compliant and compelling proposalsĀ
- Lead proposal teams to produce high-scoring proposal documents that meet customer requirements and proposal milestones and deadlines
- Develop and maintain proposal content library, including past successful proposal documents, templates, and other resources
- Develop and maintain close working relationships with technical SMEs and other internal and external stakeholders
- Continuously mature corporate proposal management processes, tools, and templates
- Contribute to the final bid/no-bid process providing government solicitation subject matter expertise
- Provide proposal writing, editing, proofreading, and other support for proposal developmentĀ
Must Have:
- Bachelorās Degree
- 8+ years demonstrated experience managing, writing and coordinating Federal Government proposals of moderate to high complexity
- Demonstrated understanding of, and experience with, various proposal responses, including RFPs, RFQs, RFTOPs, and RFIs, for Federal government clients
- Ability to provide guidance and direction across multiple concurrent proposal efforts and managing and supervising the activities of proposal coordinators
- Outstanding copywriting/copy editing skills and attention to detail
- Ability to produce schedules, templates, and proposal documentation using Microsoft Office and other tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat
- High energy level, sense of urgency, decisiveness, ability to work well under pressure, and requires little to no direction or guidance to identify, structure and articulate a winning approach for solicitation responses
