Senior Rebate Analyst - Fully Remote
Job Description
Responsible for acquiring, cleansing and analyzing the pharmacy and medical utilization data of various clients to generate rebate submissions to the pharmaceutical manufacturers that are in accordance with the proper terms and formulary positioning. Preparation of client rebate and guarantee payments and reporting. All job duties and responsibilities must be carried out in a timely and accurate manner, while in compliance with internal processes and applicable legal and regulatory requirements. Serves as the main point of contact for all rebate data inquires and disputes from clients and or pharmaceutical manufacturers.

5+ years' analytical or technical experience including financial analysis and working with large datasets/claims data and 2+ years of rebate experience OR 7+ years of financial analysis of large datasets/claims data.
Advanced Excel and SQL skills.
Technical proficiency and understanding of relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server and MS Access/Excel). Knowledge of SQL to organize, manipulate, and analyze data.
Ability to translate data into clear and meaningful reports.
Ability to implement methods to assess accuracy of data extraction and data manipulation process.

- Assists and supports the health plan's contracting department to ensure proper rebate terms align with both client and/or pharma contacts and addenda as well as to provide ad-hoc reporting internally in a timely manner.
- Participates in the day-to-day activities of the rebate contracting process including pre-processing, processing, reconciliation, and reporting. Serves as primary lead on reconciliation, payments and related reporting.
- Ensures proper administration of production and development rebate processing databases and environments.
- Works with a variety of data files to ensure all rebate data is accurately loaded to the systems.
- Analyzes client trends of rebate payments, claims and guarantees quarter over quarter.
- Works with the company's IT Administration, third-party developer, or company management to ensure that all necessary changes are implemented to the rebate systems.
- Works with company management to ensure mission critical reporting and business intelligence reporting is being developed and delivered.
- Calculates client rebate payments and guarantees and provides reporting to Account teams and clients to assist in all rebate inquiries.
