Job description

Team: Recruiting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Recruiter based in Brazil.

This role is fully responsible for owning and scaling the entire recruiting function within a fast-growing, high-performance environment. You will act as the single point of ownership for end-to-end hiring, shaping how talent is sourced, evaluated, and hired across all departments. The position requires a strong mix of proactive sourcing, candidate closing, and partnership with hiring managers to ensure alignment on quality and priorities. You will play a critical role in defining the company’s future by bringing in top-tier talent across both technical and non-technical roles. Operating in a lean and agile setting, you will be expected to build processes, manage multiple searches simultaneously, and continuously improve recruiting systems and data visibility. This is a highly autonomous role where judgment, ownership, and execution speed directly influence company growth.

Accountabilities

  • Own the full-cycle recruiting process across all roles, from defining hiring needs and sourcing strategy to screening, interviewing, and closing candidates.
  • Proactively source and build pipelines of high-quality passive candidates, developing tailored strategies for each role rather than relying on inbound applications.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to align on role requirements, challenge unrealistic expectations, and design efficient interview processes.
  • Drive candidate conversion through strong closing skills, including compensation discussions, counteroffer management, and offer negotiations.
  • Manage and optimize the ATS (such as Ashby or equivalent), ensuring accurate data tracking, pipeline visibility, and continuous process improvements.
  • Monitor recruiting metrics and build dashboards to track funnel health, identify risks, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Continuously improve recruiting operations, job descriptions, and sourcing strategies based on data and market feedback.
  • Requirements

    • 5+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, ideally within fast-paced agencies, startups, or multi-role environments.
    • Proven success in proactive sourcing and hiring passive candidates across competitive talent markets.
    • Strong experience in candidate closing, including compensation negotiation and managing offer acceptance.
    • Hands-on experience managing multiple concurrent searches and maintaining structured hiring pipelines.
    • Experience using ATS platforms such as Ashby, Greenhouse, or Lever, with strong operational ownership mindset.
    • Excellent communication skills in English, with confidence conducting interviews and closing conversations.
    • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to maintain clean, structured recruiting processes.
    • Ability to partner effectively with hiring managers, providing guidance, challenge, and structured hiring support.
    • Autonomous, proactive mindset with strong ownership and accountability for outcomes.
    • Benefits

      • Competitive compensation with potential quarterly profit share after one year
      • Fully remote work with flexibility in schedule
      • Learning and development budget to support professional growth
      • Medical, dental, and vision coverage (where applicable)
      • 401(k) with employer match (for eligible regions)
      • Annual company offsites and team gatherings
      • Access to books and learning resources program
      • High autonomy role with full ownership of the recruiting function
      • Clear path toward building and leading a talent team
