Dev Technology is looking for a SharePoint Developer with direct, hands-on experience providing resolution of SharePoint collaboration issues. This employee will support the continued build out and maintenance of a Modern SharePoint Online intranet site for a customer. The best candidate will enjoy working as part of a team, bring attention to detail, and seek to solve problems for our Government customers. 

 

What You'll Be Doing: 

  • Build modern and mobile-ready communication and team sites that support dynamic intranet content 
  • Work closely with content owners to educate them on modern SharePoint capabilities and options for implementing content within the intranet
  • Support the development of modern User Interface (UI) that is mobile-ready
  • Analyze customer requests and transform them into actionable requirements
  • Create workflows to automate business processes using Power Automate
  • Create forms to automate business processes using Power Apps
  • Create reports to automate information roll-up using Power BI
  • Support Project Management tasks to include updating Project Timelines, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), utilizing Agile Project Management concepts including Sprints
  • Provide on-site Tier 2 support for resolution of SharePoint collaboration issues. Tier 2 support is defined as issues escalated by the CFTC Customer Support Center for advanced support requiring experience with specific SharePoint collaboration functions. Customer support issues are routed and tracked utilizing the Footprints software package.
  • Assist SharePoint collaboration end users in establishing, utilizing, and maintaining collaboration sites, including the managing of permissions, lists, views, libraries, and web parts
  • Troubleshoot SharePoint collaboration issues to root cause and complete and/or coordinate fixes
  • Manage and maintain existing SharePoint collaboration knowledgebase, including how-to guides, site owner lists, and collaboration blogs
  • Assist in the development and provision of SharePoint collaboration training to end users
  • Communicate with ODT staff at all levels to troubleshoot issues, facilitate problem resolution
  • Develop and follow governance to support a consistent and structured collaboration environment
  • Support testing and troubleshooting of SharePoint Online content

Required Education, Experience, and Skills: 

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of SharePoint Collaboration experience in a professional setting 
  • Experience with maintaining Project Timelines and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) 
  • Experience with Agile Methodology and Sprint Planning/Execution
  • Ability to establish, utilize, and maintain SharePoint Online sites
  • Previous experience migrating SharePoint sites with tools such as Sharegate
  • Ability to manage permissions, lists, views, libraries, and web parts
  • Ability to create workflows to automate forms and business processes using out-of-the-box SharePoint
  • Ability to customize SharePoint using JavaScript, JSLink, and other scripting languages
  • Ability to work independently on user project requests to gather, assess and implement requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A natural curiosity and eagerness to learn new skills

Preferred Skills and Experience: 

  • Experience with Modern SharePoint Online preferred
  • Experience with PowerApps/Power Automate preferred
  • Experience with MS Project and Agile Methodology

Our estimated salary range for this position is $100,000 - $112,000. This presented salary range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Offered salary is based on education, experience, geographic location, and possibly contractual requirements as appropriate to the role. *Salary could fall outside of this range.
