As the Senior Social Media Manager, you’ll be responsible for stepping up our game on multiple platforms, developing programs, growing our audience and leading our social conversation.

What you can do for Expel
  • Manage all day-to-day aspects of Expel’s social media channels: develop and publish content across the platforms; thoughtfully curate our feed with meaningful, timely and relevant content that’s appropriate for specific networks
  • Grow Expel’s social following globally, building and executing strategies to rapidly accelerate growth and engagement
  • Maintain our social media calendar so it’s in sync with marketing programs, events and industry news. Identify appropriate timelines for posting, engaging and optimizing content specific to each channel
  • Listen and engage in relevant social discussion about our company, competitors, and/or industry, both from existing customers and leads and from brand new audiences that don’t yet know us
  • Develop, execute, and monitor the results of paid follower campaigns
  • Curate and manage an employee advocacy program that amplifies the reach of the corporate Expel handles
  • Track social metrics and provide key insights in reports, including growth and engagement analytics as well as areas for optimization
  • Work alongside other marketers and content producers to help distribute content that educates and entertains our audience
  • Stay up-to-date on social media tools, trends and emerging technologies
  • Explore and implement new ways to engage and new social networks to reach our target buyers, attract high quality followers and maximize engagement
What you should bring with you
  • 5-7 years of social media marketing experience, with at least 3 years in the B2B space
  • A Bachelor’s degree or a compelling story
  • Familiarity with social media management platforms for publishing, listening, analytics and employee advocacy
  • Strong project management, time management and cross-functional coordination skills including the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Self-motivated and resourceful creative thinker with an ability to use both data and intuition to inform decisions
  • Exceptional writing skills; the ability to write fresh, engaging copy and make connections
  • Curiosity and a drive to experiment with creative new social media approaches
  • Adaptable and an eagle eye for aesthetics
  • Sense of humor (always a plus)

Additional notes

The base salary range for this role is between $98,000 USD and $142,100 USD + bonus eligibility and equity.
