Accountabilities:

The Senior Software Engineer - UI/UX will take ownership of designing, developing, and improving software experiences while contributing to technical direction and engineering excellence. The role requires strong collaboration across teams, thoughtful decision-making, and a focus on delivering maintainable, high-quality solutions.

  • Design, implement, and evolve user-facing software features from initial concepts through production delivery.
  • Build intuitive interfaces that help users analyze complex information and respond effectively to security challenges.
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to transform complex requirements into scalable solutions.
  • Make informed engineering decisions by balancing user experience, technical quality, delivery timelines, and long-term maintainability.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify systems, improve workflows, and reduce technical complexity.
  • Contribute to architecture improvements, development standards, tooling enhancements, and engineering best practices.
  • Drive improvements to developer experience, software quality, and team effectiveness through technical leadership.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly to improve productivity, quality, and delivery outcomes.
  • Participate in design reviews, technical discussions, and initiatives that strengthen engineering capabilities across teams.
  • Requirements:

    The ideal candidate is an experienced software engineer with strong front-end expertise, excellent engineering judgment, and the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams. Candidates should demonstrate ownership, curiosity, and a commitment to building reliable, user-centered software.

    • 6–8+ years of professional software engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated technical capability.
    • Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience solving complex real-world technical problems.
    • Proven ability to own projects from concept through implementation and delivery.
    • Experience with modern front-end technologies, including React, TypeScript, testing frameworks, state management, and contemporary build tools.
    • Experience using AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering efficiency and software quality.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with Product, Design, and Engineering stakeholders.
    • Strong understanding of user experience principles and building scalable UI solutions.
    • Experience designing or integrating with backend APIs and distributed systems.
    • Experience contributing to shared UI component libraries or design systems is preferred.
    • Experience driving technical initiatives, mentoring teammates, or influencing engineering practices is a plus.
    • Familiarity with cybersecurity, operational technology (OT), or industrial control systems (ICS) environments is beneficial.
