Senior Software Engineer

THE POSITION

This position will be responsible for contributing to a team of software engineers. We’re looking for some high-caliber, passionate front-end engineers to join a highly motivated team focused on developing and maintaining our platforms and applications. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop complex user interfaces to solve business needs (e.g. how to identify the best ways to present opportunities for customers to save money on existing loans.)                            
• Work hand-in-hand with the business to find the best ways to solve problems and develop exciting new features for our partners. (one day you could be improving the robustness of cross-platform web component integrations, the next you might be developing shared components that provides new features.)  
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and build user-friendly, elegant, testable, efficient, and scalable solutions based on specifications

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ yrs. of professional software engineering experience
• 5+ yrs. experience with JavaScript, and a JavaScript Library (React, Vue, etc.)
• 5+ yrs. experience building UIs that interact with backend APIs
• Experience mentoring junior developers
• Passion for professional self-improvement (anxious to explore new territory)
• An expert in the programming language(s) and frameworks of your choice
• B.S. in Computer Science or closely related degree
• Nice to have: understanding of component based architecture

Compensation: $100,000-$150,000 DOE

Incentive Compensation: Eligible for annual performance bonus
