This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Software Engineer – .NET / Angular based in Brazil.

Accountabilities

As a Senior Software Engineer – .NET / Angular, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software solutions while contributing to technical excellence across the engineering organization.

  • Build and enhance enterprise SaaS applications using the .NET ecosystem and modern web technologies.
  • Develop robust backend services using C# or VB.NET and deliver high-quality web application features.
  • Create efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and database solutions while optimizing performance.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term improvements.
  • Participate in architecture discussions, technical planning, and solution design activities.
  • Write secure, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering best practices.
  • Develop and maintain unit and integration tests to support a shift-left development approach.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and Claude Code to accelerate delivery and improve code quality.
  • Contribute to continuous improvements in engineering processes, application performance, and system maintainability.
  • Requirements

    The ideal candidate is an experienced software engineer with strong technical expertise, a passion for solving complex challenges, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a modern Agile environment.

    • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
    • Strong proficiency with C# or VB.NET and experience developing scalable web applications.
    • Solid knowledge of SQL, relational databases, stored procedures, and query optimization.
    • Experience troubleshooting applications and improving software performance.
    • Experience writing unit and integration tests.
    • Familiarity with shift-left development practices and quality-focused engineering workflows.
    • Strong understanding of software architecture and application design principles.
    • Experience working within Agile engineering teams and collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
    • Willingness to adopt AI-powered development tools and modern AI-assisted engineering workflows.
    • Basic understanding of LLMs, MCP, RAG, and emerging AI development concepts.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
    • Strong English communication skills.
    • Nice-to-have qualifications:

      • Experience with Angular, jQuery, WebForms, or other server-rendered application architectures.
      • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, indexing, and performance tuning.
      • Experience with cloud services such as AWS EC2, S3, or SES.
      • Familiarity with GraphQL.
      • Experience using coding agents or AI-assisted engineering workflows.
      • Strong understanding of HTML and CSS for traditional web applications.
